I received The House at Riverton by Kate Morton from the Amazon Vine program for review. I requested it based only on the description I'd read in the newsletter: set around World War I, it was a family saga rich in secrets. Having just finished it, I can soundly endorse it as one of the best reads I've had in a long time. Being Morton's debut novel, I'm amazed at the wonderful turn of phrase and the realistic characterizations. I was enthralled up to the last page (which kept me up late reading, btw). I gave it a glowing review at amazon at http://tinyurl.com/ytzl9t and I can heartily recommend it to all lovers of historical fiction and just plain good literature. Get this one. You won't regret it!

I ended up voting for HIllary (after being on the fence FOREVER - that's why I didn't yet reply to your email), but will be happy regardless of who wins - so long as a Democrat wins in November!
Hi Taminator,
I just read your Amazon review of THE HOUSE AT RIVERTON by Kate Morton and appreciated your insightful comments. My name is Paul Dillon and I am the author of THE MAGIC IN THE RECEIVER, a novel in the same genre.
Amazon customers who buy my book also buy Kate’s and I thought you might be interested in a complimentary copy of “Magic” in exchange for an honest Amazon review. Of course, there would be no obligation to write a review.
You can find out more information about my book at the link below. If “Magic” looks like an enjoyable read, please let me know your preference for paperback or Kindle—I’ll need a mailing address for the physical book.
Many thanks for your time.
Regards,
-paul
